I am married to a US citizen. We filed the complete Green Card package in September. It was accepted for processing, and my application for employment authorization has been approved. I have an appointment on November 29 to get the EAD card. They asked me to bring in my passport and proof of residence.
The problem is that I lost my ORIGINAL passport, and it had my US VISA (b1)in it. So I got a replacement passport from my embassy. But my new passport does not have my US VISA in it. I do still have the i94 though! The i94 paroled me into the country in Febuary 2000. When I go to my appointment, will my passport be ok? What do they need exactly? Do they need the i94? Is it ok that I am paroled into the USA? I am scared that since I lost my original passport there may be a problem.
