My daughters mother has owed back child support for 3 years now. So when she files for taxes Irs would hold her return and send it to me. We'll that is how it is suppose to go. She currently owes me 6,000. Her husband and her have had to other children since then. Neither work enough to not qualify for the income credit and her husband doesn't pay his child support on his other daughter either. Child Support has told me and sent me a copy that IRS is to hold her income tax returns. But the mother had told me she bought a car with her tax money. I belive that do to her and her husband owing back child support that they are letting a family member claim their children. How can I prove this?
