I am a sculptor and entered into a contract with someone to produce an original sculpture for $1,000. We never discussed what the sculpture would be(he left it to my discretion) but when I completed it the other party did not accept devlivery and refused to pay. Can I sue and be successful it getting my money??

Help!!!

My response:

Therein lies the problem. There is no contract, apparently. Sure, you "think" there's at least an oral contract, but that will fail for at least two reasons:

1. There is no meeting of the minds.

2. This "contract" violates the Statute of Frauds.

I think you're in deep poo-poo.
