What is the name of your state? Maryland

My former employer asked me and another employee in the office to lie about certain things if we were ever deposed in a federal civil case. He did this right in front of two other employees so I assume they had already been asked this. Since I was never deposed or have not been yet. It does seem likely I won't be. Was a crime committed? I quit the job soon after.
