Asset Acceptance Verified before Validating

Asset Acceptance did not respond to my DV letter on an old credit card account. The card has since run past the SOL for collections so I sent the limited C&D SOL Letter to them so that they know that I am aware that this debt is time barred.

I disputed this item simultaneously with the CRA's (one-two punch). Well -- Asset Acceptance has verified the line item but has yet to Validate the line item. Is this a violation? If so, what is my next step? Does anyone have a sample letter I can use to dispute this thing again?

I'm so sick of these spineless weasles!!!

Did you send everything certified mail, return receipt? Save it all.

Head over to creditboards.com--lots of people dealing with this agency.

This may be one minor victory, but you need more than that. You don't want them claiming it is just an "error." Get them on multiple violations.
