I was president of a company that filed chapter 11 about 8 ys ago and the company was being run by a trustee. 4 ys ago the company was sold by the trustee to another party. I was running the company for the new owner which formed an LLC company. I personally filed chapter 11 when the company filed chapter 11 and later I filed chapter 7. I personally have a balance remaining to the IRS. The owner wants to turn the company back over to me so that I am the owner of the LLC company. My question is would there be any liability to me personally, or could they come after the assets of the new company?
