Some time ago I purchased a computer motherboard made by Asus. It has been having problems and at this point is non functional. I have made several RMAs on the board and it keeps coming back broken. Now Asus is not returning my phone calls, and I wish know if I have any legal options here. It's a bit sticky though because while the warranty DID expire, it didn't expire until after I had submitted the claim and had it approved for RMA, maybe even the 2nd time. Is it legal for them to drag their feet and then just consider me past the warranty deadline despite the fact that we both know the board failed while it was under warranty?
As I understand it, when I purchased that item with the warranty, I was buying a promise that if the item fails within the warranty period, they are obligated to fix/replace it for me.
