What is the name of your state? Arizona
Was charged with DUI, court dropped charge to Reckless. The Dept. of Transportation makes a notation on driving record of DUI charge. Now my local Auto Ins. Company is charging me for both the reckless and DUI offences. I understand that Arizona is one of the few states left that allows “double jeopardy” punishment to take place, but is my Ins. Company required to follow this course? Or is it merely the decision of the underwriter?
