My step son while living in Georgia, with his girl friend and her father Glenn, bought 1991 chev. pickup truck, in GEORGIA, Edward, step son(27 years old) signed title Glenn co signed 03-21-2000, they got a loan to finance the pick up which was$5461.00 & to pay off a Van which Edward had owned amounting to $1.175.00. Edward and his girlfriend broke up, Edward moved to Kansas City Mo. about July of 2000,and hasn't made any payments since then, Glenn went and borrowed money out of his 104K with penalty of $1.000
and payed the loan off so he wouldn't get bad credit. Edward has truck in Kansas City MO. can't get tags because he doesn't have the title, Glenn won't send title from Georgia because Edward owes him app $6.600.00 , Glenn in the mean time has told Edward he will give title if Ed sends him $3,000.00 and will let the other money drop.Edward won't send Glenn the money because he said Glenn might not send title in return mail. Edward says he is going to part the truck out and sell parts, or take truck to airport and leave it. QUESTION is can Edward sell parts of truck since Glenn is main title holder, and can Edward get in trouble for leaving truck at Airport?
I think Edward should appreciate all this man has done for him. GARY
