Average attorney fees for chapter 7

I went to an attorney about filing chapter 7, and these are the fees he quoted me for his services.

$45 case review fee
$299 filing fee
$1500 legal services fee

Now, to me this seems a little high for a simple chapter 7 case... but then again, I don't really have anything to base it on. Does anyone know what an attorney should be charging (on average) for chapter 7 bankruptcy? I know it depends on the attorney, etc,.. but surely an attorney shouldn't charge $10,000 just to file chapter 7. There must be some kind of reasonable range (and I'd like to be sure I'm in that range). I want to be sure I'm not getting totally ripped off here.

No assets... other than my PC. I just formed a corporation, but it is currently inactive and there is no money in it.

**A: low $500 high $800 for a simple BK 7. See other attorneys and get a lower fee.
