back payment on health insurance??

What is the name of your state? VA

I have been working for a small business for almost two years now. I am nearing the end of my employment here and my boss has just notified me that my health insurance payments have never been deducted from my paycheck. She now wants me to pay her back all of the insurance deductions that should have been taken from my paycheck since the beginning of my employment. Can you she make me pay her back the entire amount?

When you enrolled in the health insurance plan, were you not told what your share of the cost was going to be? Did you sign a payroll deduction authorization? If yes, why did you never tell your employer the deductions weren't being made?
