What is the name of your state? Texas
my coporate office is in Pa. if they filed for bankruptcy would it be public knowledge & how would one find it?

You can check with the bankruptcy court where the co. has its main place of business or where it was incorporated. There is at least one bk court in each state. You can obtain the name & address of the bk court for that region by calling the Administrative Off. of the US Courts at (202) 502-1900.
