What is the name of your state?Massachusetts
I noticed in my local newspaper a home that will be going to foreclosure in a few weeks. I'm interested in seeing the home and perhaps making an offer to purchase. What is the procedure? There is no real estate sign in front of the house. Would it be ok for me to call the owners directly?

Try to contact them vial mail or if time does not allow phone and/or face to face. Now be advised some ppl take offense at their financial affairs being out in the public so try and tactful and see if they are interested in selling their property. They may have caught up w/ payment since that publication has gone out so you may get a flat no and a door slam shut in your face, but it you are looking to invest in you area it is a good option to try to communicate with owner or in trustee that is conducting sale in the first place. Best of luck.
