Has anyone ever heard of a Trustee taking up to 16 months to close a chapter 13.
We made our last payment july 2008. This was a 36 month plan and not 100% pay back.
Our original lawyer has left the firm and the one that took over is not helpful.
Never returns calls and is never available when we call.
The receptionist or assistant will say after 3 or 4 calls that she says the trustee is slow and can take up to the time stated.
So we don’t know if there is anything that can be done to end this delay.
Also don’t know were we stand, do we still have to send copy of tax return, if we send it to the lawyer she probably wont
Forward it to the Trustee anyway.
