My family and I are in this situation where we are being threatened to be reported to the INS, to get deported out of this country. We are LEGAL immigrants. I basically wanted to know what would be the consequences to this situation if ever this threat really does come true. - Will it affect our LEGAL papers and possibly deny our chances of PERMANENTLY staying in this country??

And another thing - the person threatening us got her green card through a fraudulent marraige. ("marraige of convenience") Now, my other question is, isn't SHE more likely to get deported by INS, once they find out the background of her status???
