What is the name of your state?Wayne County, Michigan
I am currently going through a divorce... My wife filed for a PPO stating that I owned illegal "assault rifles" and I am very violent. I can prove that she purchased two of the rifles herself as gifts to me. They are NOT illegal. Do I have a case against her? She is using the PPO to gain control of our two sons!
Thank you in advance,

your attorney for you divorce isn't handling this? personally, don't make the divorce worse than it is. your kids are going to know about all this anyways. the divorce will be hard enough on them, don't make their lives more worse because a vendetta, and don't go down to her level.

Thank you for the reply! She is using the PPO to gain full rights to the kids. I can only see them supervised on the weekends only. The basis for the PPO is all lies. My attorney is fighting it, but in the meantime I can not work in my current job because of the PPO. I may lose my job because of her lies.
