What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY

I am due to take a test for which my company gives a bonus of 5k for passing and I have been studying for 6 months. Getting my score takes 2 months.

If I get let go between the time of having taken the test and my score (and find out I pass) am I still entitled to get the 5k?

This is entirely a matter of company policy and the bonus agreement. It is not addressed by law.
