My response:

No.

There are no "buyer's remorse" laws.

You bought a car, plain and simple.

i disagree with the other reply you do have a option to take it back but most states is 3 days,as matter of fact i know a guy who just took one back a few weeks ago he took it back on the third day

My response:

You're wrong, and so is your friend.

You both think there's a 3 day "Cooling Off" period for the return of cars. You're wrong. There is no such thing.

The 3 day "Cooling Off" period is for "Home Solicitation" sales contracts - - only.

Sure, you can return a car to a dealership. But, guess what? It goes on your credit report as a voluntary repossession and messes up your credit for years.

Then, to add insult to injury, when the dealership sells the car for less than your friend's contract price, he'll be the one coming to this board asking why he owes a "deficiency" on the car, and why they are hounding him with demands for payment.

Returning a car DOES NOT cancel a contract.
