I had to break my apartment lease due to job relocation. My lease agreement states that I have to pay a buy out fee of two months rent (which I paid). I also have to give a 60 day notice (which I did not). The apartment company wants me to pay an extra two months rent for not giving a 60 day notice. However it does not state in the lease that I will be charged a penalty for not giving a 60 day notice. Am I obligated to pay the extra money?
