What is the name of your state?CT

I have heard that if you move out before your lease ends, and your landlord does not make an effort to find a tenant to replace you, then the landlord cannot collect the remaining rent money from you. Is this true?

**A: yes, in most cases since the landlord did not mitigate damages.
