virginia- louisianna my brother is currently in jail in plaquemines parish LA, his ex girlfriend wants to place their as yet as yet unborn child(due later this month) up for adoption . What are his rights pertaining to the child she does not want him to have it at all but she does not want the child either. He would like my husband and I to have custody of this child or adopt the child if the mother is willing. any help would be greatly appreciated.
