My brother who went through a divorce about a year ago has been living at our disabled mom's house. He moved in and claimed that he could not afford to pay rent, he figured it's mom's house I shouldn't have to. He is more problems than he is help, he has a temper and is rude to mom and her caregivers. Can I legally tell him to move out? My sister and I are power of attorneys for our mother and we are also the trustees on the property. Please help. He refuses to pay at least 1/2 of the utility bill, saying he paid for something to get fixed so now she owes him?

If mom is competent, then she must want him there.

If she is not competent, then start guardianship/conservatorship proceedings.

Expect a **** storm.
