What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
What exactly happens after the bankruptcy papers are filed. I mean in the actual bookkeeping office. The business I have worked for for 24 years will be filing. Who closes out the books, who sends the W-2s. I've heard the trustee will remove my computer with all my payroll and accounting programs on it. Why? I would just like to know what actually happens, and when, step by step. Who files the last quarterly and year end payroll reports. Do I not show up for work the day after we close for good? Wow, so confusing and emotional. Thanks for any info and input. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
