Hi. I was working at a resturant and one morning the
manager called me to tell me that the business was closed
due to bankruptcy. I had absolutely no warning or notice.
Is there any kind of laws in which the business must pay
youo for a certain amount of time for not letting anyone
know that they would be out of a job?

WARN Act might help

The internet has a wealth of information in regards to the WARN Act which protects employees from sudden termination (of sorts).

Problem is I don't think your restuarat has enough full-time employees to be covered by the WARN act.

Good luck in your seach.
