What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Winston Salem NC.

I am thinking of buying a large tv from curcuit city. I know they have filed for bankruptcy. If I buy a tv from them on a 36 month no interest credit from the company, what happens if and or when they go out of business before that 36 months

You still owe the money. Just don't expect any extended warranty service.

The assets of th ecompany including the debts owed to them will be administered. The address you send payments to may change, that's about it. In fact, depending on how the financing is setup, your checks may be going to a finance company which is a separate legal entity from Circuit City.
