What is the name of your state? Florida

Summation: Had first hearing with CA. Asked for trial date, set July. Have documents to show expired SOL, not licensed in my state, etc.
Received letter today where CA is asking for Telephonic Testimony approval by judge because plaintiff is out of state, etc.

I searced for law concerning this type of testimony and can't find. Can I file against this Monday morning at the court house?

Seems like crap to me.

This may be a bluff. A poster named "skylynx" went through this with Discover last year in Fl. on an SOL issue. Here's her story:

When I go to the judge next month, about Discovercard, I think the CA is going to use a phone witness to prove validation of my debt. Is that legal? I thought they had to produce a contract with my signature on it, not just ask someone at Discovercard servicecenter. The CA is an attorney ass-ignee for MidFirst Bank and sent me a copy of a request to the court to use a phone witness, to save the expense of having the witness travel in person.
and the this:

I just want to say thanks to all of you, Linda, WhyChat, and others, the big bad CA who had the final court date set for next week, after dragging me through two hearings, has suddenly backed out of the trial. I got a letter signed by the judge today. Thanks to ya'll I was able to stand up to them in regard to validation and SOL

Go to www.cardreport.com {a free site and no registeration}. Enter skylnx in the search function for the long story. For some reason, I though she also posted here but the serach function turned up nothing unfer that name.
