i have been separated from my wife for almost 5 years. i am now filing for divorce. while separated, i provided health insurance for her and my children. she has lived with a new bo for about 3 years. they have a daughter together. i provided health insurance for the birth of this child and continued for 1 1/2 years. my wife does not want to agree to a divorce unless i continue to pay for her health insurance. i'm afraid that this will hold things up. i have been extremely generous during our separation but i need to cut the apron strings. of course, i will continue to pay child support for my two children. does she have a legal right to have me continue to pay her health insurance after the divorce?
