Ok i was adopeted at 15 months, My birth mother had me till I was 6 months then left me at the police station and went to Oklahoma, she wrote a letter to the adoption agency saying to put me up for adoption and all that, at the bottom of the letter she wrote that if I ever wanted to find her when I was old enough to give me her name and the address. well im now looking for her, put a consent form into the adoption agency and they are telling me that that is not a legal consent (her letter), because in 1985 I believe they passed the law about having to sign their form of consent.. Well she wrote that in 1975 so I think it should still be a legal consent form cause it was before the law was made.. I really want to find my parents for medical background, I have a 3 in a half year old that is Epileptic and a 5 year old that is having ADHD/Bi-polor symptoms, I have been told she was in a state mental hospital and was a Herion addict before I was born. I tried the 1-800-ussearch but they took my money and ran... I got nothing out of them they were rude and never called or wrote back so Im now trying to get my files open.. Please help me, I could use the help after four years of looking. Hailey
