Was wondering if there was any exemptions under the AB60 rule for overtime..
right now we only know that under AB60
Daily OT - 1.5 times after 8 hours/day, Double Time after 12 hours per day, 1.5 times after 40 hours/week
we found out that some exemptions apply to this rule that employers are not required to pay Direct Care Staff (i.e. nursing) by this rule and can use the weekly 40 hour rule for 1.5 times. This is in wage order is modified AB60 rule..
Does this exist and can we treat certain job titles one way and others another way in the application of overtime?
