What is the name of your state? CA

This regards an old credit card debt...
I sent a DV letter to an attorney representing Asset Acceptance and they did not respond. I sent a second letter stating that the SOL has expired. They did not respond to it either.

I sent the CRA's an SOL letter with a copy of my original DV letter. I mentioned that AA did not resopnd to my DV letter.

Is there anything I"m missing here? I'm sure AA is going to try to sue. Other than a summons, how can I find out if there is a lawsuit pending against me? My fear is that they will "claim" that they tried to serve me a summons but couldn't find me and win a default judgement against me.

I have documentation that the SOL has expired (old cc statements). I have proof of delivery on all of the letters I sent to AA's attorney. I think this case would be dismissed but I can't get it dismissed if I am not aware that I am being sued and a default judgement is the end result.

The surest way is to check with the courthouse. If the court has this kind of thing available on-line it would be easy to check periodically.
