What is the name of your state? Idaho

I just recently became the steward for our union. My wife has been a part-time manager for 6 months now. Under the CBA the managers are not a part of the union. She still is because her position is only part-time. Well, a month after being told that I was the new steward the owner tells my wife that she can no longer be a manager if I'm the steward. This of course happens on the same day that I filed a grievance for a possibly wrongfully terminated employee. Coincidence? Anyway, is there any law stating that a steward can't be related to management? I checked throughout the CBA and nothing is stated in there. I checked the company policy manual and nothing is stated in there either. So, I told my wife to ask to see this policy in writing.

Any advice or knowledge to share out there? Thanks!

Idaho is an "at will" employment state. If your boss has no contractual impediments then he can fire her for whatever reason he wants.
