I live in Indiana and got a 9-21-5-2(a)ifc recently on the Indiana toll road coming into one of the workzones. I got blocked in and had another driver right on my bumper going with the flow of traffic trying to merger into the other lane which traffic was being sent into. The ticket was issued by a Schereville officer and the court date is for Schereville. I noticed that the ticket is not correct as the license state for the vehicle is listed as NE. If you're going to write a ticket at least have all the information correct. It should be Indiana. I just want this deferred. I found out that the ticket is $169. Am I able to get this deferred?

Clerical errors on tickets make little difference in the long run.

As to whether it can be deferred depends on how much over the limit you were. If it was less than 25 MPH, you can defer it if you're otherwise eligible (less than 4 points, no tickets within the last year, no CDL, etc...).
