What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I am asking for respondant in the case with permission.

Origional divorce was filed for about 2.5 yrs ago. Since then Child support and custody are the only things that have been determined. Property distribution was never settled and final divorce agreements were never signed. Last events were a rehearing of the custody issues, which was completed in February, and based on a motion by respondant. Petitioner has filed no motions in over a year. Can this case eventually be considered abandoned since Petitioner has not pursued completion of it. If so what are the timelines to consider it such? Would it be a certian time from initial filing or from last activity in the case?

Thank You
