Can my husband EX ask the court to extend alimony payments? the divorce decree says the amount and lenght of payments are not modifiable, however she is starting to say that she will not survive with out the alimony payments, she works full time, but we know for a fact that she does not make much, she has had 8 years to get a better paying job, but has not, we will be paying her for two more years and the last year she will be receiving about $5oo.oo less a month. (They were married for 22 years,)
Thank you. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

If the amount and duration of the alimony are not modifiable, start planning your party now.
