Hello,
I am on dependant visa in the USA i.e H4. Hence, I am aware that we are not allowed to work for money. However I play tennis as a hobby and I am interested in particpating in tennis leagues in and around the city. My queries are in 3 categories - Can I safely take part (without violating my H4 status) in tennis leagues -
1. with no prize money, those which are played for fun and that may give off gifts to winners?
2. with prize money as the gift for winners?
3. Can I be a member of the USTA?
Please help me with this. There is an upcoming tennis tournament starting on October 18th.
