As far as why I don't have the book, it's a long story. I'll be short though. My sister-in-law is disabled and on SS. She has a 5 year old son and cannot afford much for housing. She bounces from place to place in not so great neighborhoods. The house next door to me came up for rent. I agreed to watch over the place and perform minor maintenace in exchange for low rent from the owner. We rent out 2 rooms to make up the difference that she cannot cover. This also keeps her cost below anything comparable and we can keep her close to us but not too close. I've had to learn as I go as an acting manager. I made the mistake of trusting people without a lease, but I've learned my lesson with the last tenant. Now everyone is going to have a lease. The original tenant is disputing his alloted garage space and has yet to sign the lease. I just wanted to know if I had the right to threaten to evict him if he does not agree to sign. Sorry if I rambled.
