Is it possible for me to obtain federal court transcripts of a trial that occurred in 2000 or any other year?

Poster, you need to contact the court where the proceeding took place.

IF a decision was rendered it may be in the federal reporter series, but being so long ago, it is doubtful the actual transcript will even be on micro-fiche.

You have the ability to get the file, (although at 10 years old, it's likely in storage, which means you have to go to the Clerk's office one time to order it, and another to pick it up). The real question is whether the transcript was ever officially filed with the Clerk, so that a copy is in the paper file. Most times, transcripts are not. Occasionally, a judge will request that one is, but that is the exception, not the rule.

Been a couple years since I had to do it, but here is the website for retrieving old files: https://eservices.archives.gov/orderonline/start.swe?SWECmd=Start&SWEHo=eservices.archives.gov

Federal court documents

Does anyone have an online resource to search out sample federal district court transcripts, especially of the criminal kind? I would imagine they're in PDF format.

I tried google

Couldn't find a thing. What I meant is a federal circuit court criminal transcript of any case whatsoever. Any suggestions?
