I have a house that both title & mtg. are in my name and EX-DV man (not married!), whom I have a PFA on. He is facing charges, that so far have held in Pre-Lim trial. I testified and the charges stuck, so far. They are all domestic violence (with children in the house), resisiting arrest & several misdemeanor drugs charges. We have a 12 year old daughter who does not want to move. I can stay until March 2007 under the PFA Order.
If I get a lawyer, what are my chances of getting the house without having to buy him out or sell?
