My wife was in an accident some months ago. We hired an attorney on the 33% of winning's base. He supposedly has sent out for all of the lost wages and medical bill information but we got tired of waiting and we collected it all ourselves and sent it to him. After months of sending him the same info twice and some even three times we have recieve an offer from the defendants insurance co. based on the packet that our attorney put together . This offer would be fine if we didn't have to pay the 33% for a job that we did. Can I fire him now and accept the offer that the Insurance offered?

My response:

You have an absolute right to fire your attorney at any time.

However, here are your magic words and phrases - -

a. Lien.

b. Quantum Meruit.

Look them up.
