Can I restore my DL that was suspended for missing Court before I reschedule (NJ)

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ

Long story short I got a ticket for not having my insurance card on me a few months ago and I missed my court date. I have an active warrant for this court appearance as well. I was just wondering if I can pay my restoration fee to get my DL restored now or do I have to "turn myself in" and pay my warrant before I can get my driving privilege back? Up until I missed my court date it was valid

Short answer you have to clear the original charge and failure to appear first. The suspension is because of the uncleared charges.
