My Dad & Mom are trying to adopt in the state of Illinois. When I found out that they were trying to adopt, I sent an anonomous email to the adoption agency (under a fake name)advising them to reconsider placing a child in their care and provided proof of why. Most importantly, I asked that I be kept anonomous. They wrote back several times and told me that they were concerned about the allegations and would keep my name confidential (I have all the emails). Months later, I find out that my parent's adoption lawyer got copies of these emails and showed my parents. Obviously, my father knew who wrote the email because it was very personal.

Do I have the right to sue this adoption agency/State of Illinois and do I have a case in court because they violated my confidentiality?

Thanks!
