What is the name of your state?Georgia
I took my van into a local service center (garage) to be diagnostic tested and fixed. They said it was the fuel pump and replaced it. This afternoon, I called to see if my van was ready to pick up as scheduled and the man explained that while his mechanic was test driving the van to make sure the fuel pump was fixed correctly that he slung a rod in the motor...the motor is blown up. My van had no motor problems, run smooth and never used a drop of oil...the oil was change regularly. Are there any laws to hold them liable for revving the motor up and blowing it up. Even the man said that the motor was sound. I just need to know my rights....they expect $400 for blowing it up and now we are waiting for someone else to call and tell us how much it will cost to fix the motor. HELP!
Shouldn't they have called me directly when this happened....to me that shows neglect even more so on there part.
