What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ

Can My Lawyer sign on to Be My Power-of-Attorney to receive requested books & documents for me from my condo association?

They & their lawyer are being resistant to both me and my lawyer, so I am wondering if we & he signed a power of attorney agreement, whether it would make a difference since he would be not only rretained by me but also legally authorized in writing to directly act in my behalf, and if it would make a difference in the condo board being less resistant with such a legal documents being pout before them.

Also, I am now out-of-state for 5-6 months and would have a hard time traveling back just to receive the documents directly myself.

I am goling to ask my lawyer these questions but wanted to put them here first to see what any responses would be.

Thanks.
