What is the name of your state? CA

I posted my question at the immigration forum, but there were no replies.
Maybe somebody can help me here, so please JETX don't even try to crucify me.

This coming August I will be applying at the INS to remove the “conditional status” on my permanent residency. This is somenthing that you have to do if you get your green card before your marriage is 2 years old.

I am in perfect order with the INS and I believe everything will be fine.

Chapter 7 is in my immediate plans. My husband will not be filing with me.
Now my question: can one process interfere with the other?
Should I wait before starting bk?
I just don't know if the INS and the Bankruptcy court are somehow connected and even if they would "care" about each other.

Thanks so much for any help

There isn't any connection between the two that I've ever read about. There is a residency requirement, you have to have lived in the state you file in for at LEAST 91 days. You'd also have to be a US citizen.
