It's me again, the sole beneficiary of a house grandmother left to me with my sister living in it who refused to move. I sent a letter in August 2004 confirming our conversation that she would move in November when she got "housing". Nothing. Filed for eviction, paid for one of those internet lawyers who guarantee results for eviction. First court appearance February 2005, my sister went in acting like a nut case! Screaming and yelling out how our grandmother's will was invalid. So the judge postponed the hearing until April 2005. I fly from California, appear along side of my internet attorney and without even opening my mouth, we had judgement for possession. But!!!!! She had 10 days to appeal. And she did! The courts let her file with no money, because she disclosed her non existing assets and the fact that she was on disability. So now we go back to court in October 2005. How does this happen???? She has lived in that house for over 2 years paying not one red penny!!!! and I know she moved in without my grandmothers permission, because she was old and had memory problems. One thing I do know is that she was not invited to live there. My grandmother was adamant about her not living there. That's why she left me the house and I live in California. But here I sit, a few thousand dollars out of pocket. Can't sell the house to pay off the creditors, because my sister is mean and refuses to let anyone in the house. I can't even get home insurance on the dwelling because I can't get an inspector to get on the property. Hell, I flew in from California and had to have police escort me to let the realtor in to see the property to put it up for sale. But we can't get buyers to view the house, because she comes out like a mad woman. How does this happen? How can the court system just let people do what they want simply because the say they are without income?? Can somebody offier any kind of advice, thoughts, anything??? Please
