I'm in the state of Tennessee.

I'm 15 and just found out I'm pregnant. My mom and my father keep saying that I can't keep the baby. First, they were attempting to pressure me into abortion, and now adoption. They said they already called someone and if they do not want me to keep this baby, I can't. Can they force me to abort or put the baby up? I know for a fact that the father won't give up his rights. I don't want to give up my baby, I was put through foster care at one point. The father has 2 jobs, and is homeschooled. Can they force me into putting my baby up, or aborting it?

No, your parents cannot force you to abort or enter into an adoption. However, you should be thinking about the best interests of the baby.

However, while they cannot refuse to support you, they do not have a legal obligation to support your baby.

I started looking up cost-of-living info for TN, and quickly realized it was too advanced for a pregnant 15 y.o. :(

I can certainly tell a 15 year old that even as when I was a 32 year old educated woman working full time, being a single mother was not fun nor easy. And if it's difficult for an adult, it has to be three times as hard for a teen.
