Filed my business as an LLC. I have had a collection company withdraw funds from my personal acct. in which I share with my spouse, who has no ties to my business. Collection Co. says because I made a previous payment to them with a personal check this gave them the info. to collect from my personal acct. This situation has turned my world upside down I am now personally in financial ruins been trying to play catch up ever since. I have just received again another collection letter addressed directly to me and not my business.
I thought that structuring my business as an LLC., that my own personal life would be sheltered?
