What is the name of your state? cOnfUsIoN....Minnesota

I had asked a rather confusing question, moments age, sorry... While I don't need someone to do, or complete my homework, I did need someone to explain the following silly question, if one would be so kind.

My brother is a undercover officer, I am aware that he alters his statements to a large degree in building a case against the bad guy. I had asked the form earlier why is this not Slander, or Libel on his part, and how would someone prove such actions had been practiced against them by an officer.

I can now can tell the form that I, for the personal admission above, understand why an upstanding policeperson requires Immunity.

What if the same policeperson passed you on a street, your home and charged your with slapping a person with you, and took it alway to court with a written statement in hand, even if the witness stated something totally different. How does ANY Great, good or poor lawyer combat such an issue. Oh, and no I don't hate my brother...

Oh,,,, Why can't the person and the employer be sued in an offical capacity? (Ie) officer of the law, and police department?

And can they be sued for Libel, and or Slander for filing false reports if gone to court and the person found not guilty?
