God will not. I suspect that the "friend" is hoping to "fool" her family and religious leaders and not be "shunned" by them. Although I do think this is just another fiction by OP.

The other problem with that is that hiding a pregnancy is a dangerous thing. She will likely not be getting proper prenatal care and will probably be severely limiting weight gain - which is bad for the baby.

It's a horrible idea - even if it could be made to work.

So, you terminate your rights to your child. And then you have to go through the adoption process... home visits, etc. In the mean time, the child is in foster care or risks being adopted by someone else. And you either lose your child to someone else because of time issues, OR you're found not to be a suitable home for your own child.

Unless you're doing a "private adoption" with yourself and enter into a contract with yourself prior to the birth of the child.

OR, you could be your own surrogate mother, where you donate your egg to yourself.

I just don't know what happens when you change your mind and decide not to go through with it. Do you sue yourself for breach of contract and custody?
