Hey folks, I'll be honest here and tell you that I am trying desperately to not only get my alcoholic father-in-law off the roads but also out of my house**************.....but of course his daughter is preventing this. He is a devious AND LUCKY man who over the last 20 years has been stopped a number of times when he was drunk by the police but has never been arrested because all he does is show his police badge and he gets away with it**************......he left the police force 20 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually can see how he does it because being an alcoholic, it takes more and more beer for him to get drunk but I am just amazed he hasn't killed anyone yet.

Anyway, about 18 months ago, he got stopped for speeding in blooming grove, PA on I-84 near the NY border. Despite informing the state trooper that he was a police officer, he still got a ticket. He never paid the ticket and for about 4 months he got letters from blooming grove demanding he pay but he never did. So what I am hoping to find out is, can you get arrested for unpaid speeding tickets in PA? The thing is, I just assumed that PA would contact the state where his driving license was issued and then they would take action. However, we live in VT and he never changed his driving license from MD to VT and I am convinced that his driving on an expired MD driving license**************...I just don't know how he manages to get away with it****************************.anyone with any knowledge of PA traffic rules or anyone who knows the consequences for not paying tickets would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
